BUSH WALKS
- Chiltern - Mt Pilot National - Woolshed Falls Historic Walk
A five minute drive north from Beechworth provides the opportunity to view the falls, have a picnic or take a self-guided walk around the alluvial gold workings. The falls are spectacular after heavy rainfalls.
- Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park-White Box Walking Track
The White Box Walking Track will introduce you to some of the natural and historical features of the Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park. The 8.5 kilometre track will take about two to three hours to complete. Numbered posts along the track correspond these notes.
- Beechworth Historic Park
The walks connect fascinating sites that tell our adventure story about the search for gold: the Powder Magazine, the Spring Creek Cascades, The Precipice, Reids Creek Goldfields, Woolshed Falls, Ingrams Rock, and Fiddes Granite Quarry – all made the more enjoyable by delicious local produce and wineries along the way!!

This 5 kms walk starts from the bridge over Spring Creek on Peach Drive, near Lake Sambell. It follows Spring Creek and Hurdle Creek to Lake Kerford
SCENIC DRIVES
- GORGE SCENIC DRIVE
Expect to witness some breathtaking scenes as you drive around the northern and western outskirts of Beechworth through rocky mountain terrain. This drive takes in several lookouts along the way with spectacular views of granite valleys, waterfalls and the remains of mining activity
- BEECHWORTH FOREST DRIVE
This scenic drive takes you through part of the Beechworth Historic Park, the orchard industry, pine plantations and sections of the Stanley State Forest
- SEBASTOPOL PARK
Offers you the opportunity to view Ned Kelly’s cave. Stand where Joe Byrne lived. Walk along the water race where Ned & Joe eluded the police. Located at 1060 Woolshed Rd 14 km from Beechworth
