BOOKING CONDITIONS

All online bookings are confirmed when making 100% payment by Visa/Mastercard.

To confirm a reservation by phone for a one (1) night stay (subject to availability) payment of 100% is required. For stays two (2) nights or longer a deposit of 50% is required. Payment is  required within 5 days of making the initial booking. Immediate payments are required when the reservation date is within 7 days of the initial booking enquiry (14 days for public holiday periods. Payments may be made by Visa, or Mastercard. If sending a cheque payment, this must be received prior to fourteen (14) days of the reservation date. Balance of payment is due on arrival by Visa, Mastercard, Eftpos or cash.

For your security, we strongly recommend travel insurance when making a reservation in advance.

To ensure we are here for your ARRIVAL, please confirm your approximate arrival time.

RECEPTION HOURS are 8.00 am, to 8.00 pm.

Arrivals after 8.00pm must confirm arrival time by phone.

FOR THE COMFORT OF OTHER GUESTS, ARRIVALS AFTER 10.00 PM ARE NOT ACCEPTED.

Guests arriving after 10.00 pm will not have access to the property and will be charged the full cost of the reservation tariff.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

If a reservation is cancelled before 10.00.a.m. on the tenth (10th) day or longer prior to the reservation date, the booking is transferable to another date within 3 months or the deposit (or full payment made) is refundable less a handling charge of five (5%) percent or max of $25.

If a reservation is cancelled within five (5) to ten (10) days of the reservation date, the deposit (or full payment made) is nonrefundable but can be transferable to another date within 3 months.

If a reservation is cancelled within two (2) to five (5) days of the reservation date: Full payments made for 1 night bookings will be non refundable and non transferable; 100% payments made for reservations 2 nights or longer will be refunded 50% of payment less a $25 handling fee.

If a reservation is cancelled within two (2) days of the arrival date all payments made are non refundable and non transferable and  the full cost of up to 2 days of the reservation tariff will be charged.
If a reservation for a PUBLIC HOLIDAY period is cancelled within two (2) to five (5) days of the arrival date, the deposit or full payment made will be non refundable and non transferable and costs will be charged to a total of a 2 night public holiday reservation.

If a reservation for a PUBLIC HOLIDAY period is cancelled within two (2) days of the arrival date, the deposit or full payment made will be non refundable and non transferable and costs will be charged to a total of the full reservation made (max. 4 nights).
Failure to arrive on the reservation date will incur full payment of the reservation tariff and automatically charged to your credit card.
Minimum booking periods apply during PUBLIC HOLIDAY periods and special event periods.

BARNSLEY HOUSE B&B  is an adult’s only retreat. Sorry, infants, children under 18 are not permitted.

For the health and safety of other guests, SMOKING IS STRICTLY NOT PERMITTED INSIDE BARNSLEY HOUSE
